Homeboys Pizza was born in 2020, hours spent watching pizza reviews and sampling what Manchester takeaways had to offer during lockdown left me feeling there was a local gap in the market. The plan was simple; to try and create some of the best pizza in the area without being tied to any traditions and having the freedom to play around with different techniques & ingredients.

 

An Instagram message to the previous owners of the shop showing some interest in the venue quickly led to a sale.... They liked my ideas & I could see the potential on a highstreet fresh out of lockdown. With a business plan that could fit on a A4 piece of paper it was 4 months before I got the keys and 7 months after that before we were able to open the doors.

 

Since opening as a takeaway in Aug 2021 we’ve gone on to offer delivery and fully refurbished our first floor into a restaurant which boasts a selection of natural wines & beverages to choose from while enjoying your pizza fresh out of the oven.

The plan moving forward is to be consistent with our product, keep evolving and maintain our solid reputation within the local community. Eventually we hope to become a chain, knocking Dominos off their top spot & selling to the highest bidder when my knees can't take it anymore.
